Hi, I'm Dr. Michelle Lin.

I am an Asian American licensed clinical psychologist who is dedicated to support others in living a meaningful life. With a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University, it has been my privilege to hold space for my community for more than 10 years, working as a psychotherapist in hospitals and integrated community programs throughout California and Hawaii. With a deep understanding of comprehensive and empirically based treatment, I provide culturally sensitive cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness-based psychotherapy to address issues including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, burnout, life stress, or sleep problems, as well as underlying intergenerational, cultural identity, or acculturation stress. Together we can build awareness and coping skills, work towards your goals, and improve quality of life.

In addition to providing clinical services, I have presented research and conducted workshops on ways to reduce the barriers to mental health care, the benefits of applying cultural sensitivity while providing mental health services, and the importance of advocacy within community mental health. My understanding of the mind-body connection has also led to my involvement in research at the Center on Stress and Health at Stanford University and the development of mindfulness-based trauma programs. I continue to lead didactics on the importance of integrative health care and am heavily involved in the training of graduate psychology students. These activities support my provision of effective mental health care.

My sessions are designed to be reflective, experiential, and educational. By cultivating a safe space for scientifically and culturally informed mental health care that is tailored to your needs, we can work together to build values-based, meaningful and intimate growth.
